The history of Ankazoberavina

For some ecologists environmentalists was an unforgettable experience to land onAnkazoberavina Island, ninhabited and with its nature completely intact and wild.

Love at first sight that led them to become interested in this wonderful ecosystem to study it and live it.

Hence the decision to found the company "Nature Sauvage" aimed at protecting and safeguarding Ankazoberavina .

With this spirit and passion of the members Nature Sauvage personally contributed to the creation of an eco-lodge and a central structure can offer to their friends, relatives and guests the opportunity to stay on the island and spend an unforgettable holiday, outside the traditional tourist routes, in a small unspoiled paradise in Madagascar.

On the island there have never been settlements by inhabitants of the surrounding villages. Ankazoberavina houses of the holy places: a big black rock on the beach and tree in a small fenced area where even today every year the representatives of the nearby village performing a religious ceremony very characteristic of the commemoration of the ancestors with songs, offers of gifts, shedding of rum and cleaning up the soil around the sacred tree.
