Lemurs are a group of primates found only in Madagascar where they can find 60 different species . Island Ankazoberavina coexist so home about 40 species of lemurs Elemur Macaco which are a good company, especially during the lunch hour the fruit of which are greedy.
This species is characterized by sexual dimorphism: males have the coat uniform black while females have a light brown fur, the males have large ear tufts blacks while females large ear tufts white.
Unfortunately, because of deforestation and hunting, many lemurs are threatened with extinction but not here to Ankazoberavina.
The Fish Eagle in Madagascar Haliaeetus Vociferoides is a species endemic to Madagascar. Nested on the island has a pair and you can often see them in flight or cutlery on the trees of the forest. Monitoring surveys between 1991 and 1995 have recorded at least 222 adults from 105 sites, with an estimated 98 breeding pairs. The main threats to its habitat in Madagascar are deforestation , soil erosion and the development of wetlands for rice fields and is also in direct competition with humans for fish stocks.
According to Ms. Grambo this rapacius can be considered one of the rarest birds on Earth.
For those who love to do Birdwatching, a recent study has shown that on the island of Ankazoberavina and in the surrounding sea you can observe more than 25 different bird species (some Of which migrants are not always visible)
